Introduction

At SHRI JAY RAJ VIDYA MANDIR INTERNATIONAL SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL, we uphold a code of conduct that promotes a safe, respectful, and conducive learning environment for all students. Suspension is a disciplinary measure employed when students fail to adhere to this code of conduct. The school reserves the right to suspend students who engage in behavior that is detrimental to the well-being of themselves, fellow students, or school property.

Repeat Offenses

Students who repeatedly engage in misconduct or fail to heed disciplinary warnings may face escalated disciplinary measures, including extended suspension, expulsion, or other appropriate actions as deemed necessary by the school administration.

Suspension Procedure

Investigation Any reported incidents of misconduct will be thoroughly investigated by the school administration to determine the validity of the claims and gather evidence.

Notification: Upon confirming the misconduct, the student and their parents or guardians will be formally notified of the suspension decision, including the grounds for suspension and the duration of the suspension period.

Suspension Period The duration of the suspension will be determined based on the severity of the misconduct and the school's disciplinary policies. During the suspension period, the student will be required to stay away from school premises and refrain from participating in any school-related activities.

Parent Meeting Following the suspension, a meeting will be scheduled with the student, parents or guardians, and school authorities to discuss the incident, address any concerns, and outline expectations for future behavior.

Reinstatement: Upon completion of the suspension period and satisfactory resolution of any outstanding issues, the student may be reinstated to resume their regular attendance at school.

Appeals Process

Students and their parents or guardians have the right to appeal the suspension decision if they believe it to be unjust or disproportionate. Appeals must be submitted in writing to the school administration within a specified timeframe, outlining the grounds for the appeal and any supporting evidence. The school administration will review the appeal and provide a response in a timely manner.
